Braunschweig, 23.2.2024. Personnel changes have been announced at Volkswagen Financial Services AG: Arne Puls (53) will take over responsibility for the Human Resources and Organization department as Chief Representative of Volkswagen Financial Services AG on 1 April 2024. At a later date, subject to the approval of the supervisory authorities, an appointment as Chief Human Resources Officer on the Board of Management is planned. Arne Puls succeeds Dr. Alexandra Baum-Ceisig (56), who is joining the Board of Management of Volkswagen Group Services GmbH. Puls is currently Chief Human Resources Officer on the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE, where he also serves as Labor Director.

After studying information technology in Osnabrück, Arne Puls began his career in 1998 as an IT specialist in development control and production planning at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg. In 2001, he moved to Human Resources, where he held various management positions. In his most recent role there as Head of Group HR Management, Arne Puls was responsible for performance and talent management, management compensation and principles, and the field Global Assignments. In January 2022, he joined the Executive Board of MAN Truck & Bus SE, where he has since been head of the HR department as well as Labor Director. 

After receiving her doctorate from the University of Osnabrück in 2002, Dr. Alexandra Baum-Ceisig joined Volkswagen AG in 2006 and worked as a specialist assistant and general secretary for the General and Group Works Council for eight years. In 2015, she headed the Institute for Work and HR Management (IFAP) at Volkswagen AG for one year. From 2016 to 2018, Baum-Ceisig served as authorized signatory for the temporary personnel agency AutoVision Zeitarbeit. Between 2018 and 2020, she was Head of Human Resources at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, initially responsible for the Braunschweig plant and later for the non-production areas. In 2020, Baum-Ceisig then moved to Volkswagen Financial Services AG in Braunschweig and took over as Head of Human Resources and Organization on the Board of Management.
